"CHRYSLER" ADVERTISING FAN
- 1930s (c) F.A.S. / Pomraning Motor Co. Red Lion PA. 7" x 9.25" (7" x 14.5" with handle). Two-color litho on die-cut cardboard with wood handle.
Spectacular duotone photo front featuring a pretty flapper girl behind the wheel (copy states "HOME OF THE CHRYSLER"). Marked "PHOTO FROM LIFE" at bottom.
This promotional fan was a giveaway by the Pomraning Motor Co. of Red Lion, PA, soon after their opening in 1931. They promote themselves as the "New Garage on the Corner" (West Broadway & First Ave.).
Exceptional visual appeal.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Mild surface scuffing with no tears, folds or separations. No wood breaks on handle. Slight outward cardboard bowing. Imagery is still bold and very eye-catching.
Overall, we feel this is a very displayable example by most standards (see photos).
