Description

You're bidding on an antique chess set >100 years old, and yet this set is in very good condition, other than the black queen on her cornets have been chipped (please see in the pictures). The style is a mixture of old European patterns and later Staunton designs. The King is about 3.1 inch tall. One pair of knights and one pair of rooks are engraved with a cross on their body. The black knight with red cross on its "saddle" side had been glued at some point. Please see the pictures carefully as they are part of description.
**Based a research the spiral design of the king and other pieces look like Cambridge Spring set 1904, although not exactly the same. This May attributed to American Chess company.
