I've spent several years developing some better replacement parts for my passion, Cerwin Vega speakers. And I am finally getting them perfected and up for sale. These voice coils, fit the ATW-12 (AT-12) 15W4  LE12S  REW-12 (RE-30) 12W3  W15-4  122W2  and 152WR with the CAST frame (not steel stamped frame). What got me started on these, was that I was noticing that recone kits were coming with all different parts. I think most of the big guys out there are running out of specific kits, and since many kits are universal fit wise, you just kind of get, whatever they got left. Whatever coil, whatever cone, it'l fit. It's like the wild west out there. Anyway, I've been working on these for a while. Size wise, my coils are the same as original. ID 2.015  FH 2.0 WW .750 But the biggest difference, is I specified Aluminum formers like Cerwin Vega used originally. Obviously Aluminum cost more, but it's stronger and dissipates heat better. The other difference is the black high temp coating. Not as pretty as the shiny ones, but you're not buying it to set it on a shelf. You're buying it to rock the block. If you're not familiar with the new black high temp, look at what the car stereo crowd is using for their gazillion watt boom car subs. The wire is laid like glass, the former gap is the thinnest hair (not like on some I've seen where you could read the paper through it) These are precision coils, made specifically and exactly, for these Cerwin Vega woofers. Note on fitment. I have done quite a bit of research on the applications of these coils, and used multiple sources to confirm application on the few that I haven't personally reconed myself. These coils are the exact correct size and configuration for the woofers listed. They probably fit other models, as this size was their most common, however I can't guarantee they are correct for other woofers. For instance these are physically the correct size for the MXW woofers, however those originally had a shorter winding width. I didn't include "close enough" in my fitments above, I only listed "These are absolutely correct". If you have something not listed and want to know if these coils will work, feel free to reach out.
