Antique 8” Solid Brass Art Deco Rams Horn Strap Hinges K-Process Original Screws

These two solid brass antique strap hinges came off the back door of an old house in West Orange, New Jersey. They had layers of paint on them, which we mostly removed. We did not clean them up completely, as they are antique hardware and we do not know the intent of the new owner. We are offering them as is with the original brass screws.
We have seen this style hinge on old cabinets, freezers/food lockers, heavy solid doors, cupboards, blanket chests, and ice boxes.
These are nice heavy hinges, capable of holding a good amount of weight.
The hinges function properly and swivel without resistance. T
here is little play in the barrels, which means the pins have only slight wear.

eautiful solid brass, great hardware for a door or a restored piece of antique furniture or cabinetry. This hard to find antique hardware is made with quality, not like any hardware manufactured today.
Each antique hinge features an ornate art deco style ram’s horn design on the short straps, and includes the name K-Process inside a diamond shape on the back of the short strap.
Each hinge is approx. 8” from mid-pin to the end of the long strap, and 3-5/8” from mid-Pin to the end of the short strap. Flat open each hinge measures approx. 11-3/4” long X 5-1/4” at the ram’s horn widest point on the short strap. The hinge barrels are approx., 2-3/16” long.
