CCM has reintroduced the legendary skate line with the release of the new TACKS. Redesigned with the latest state of the art technology and materials, this skate line stays true to its values of explosive acceleration and uncompromised performance.
Fit:
The TACKS skate line features a moderate fit. The forefoot has medium width and depth, while the heel provides a close contoured fit. Both of these attributes result in a very friendly and secure fitting skate. The heel and ankle fit is wider than the Ribcore, yet narrower than the RBZ.
Quarter Panel:
The T6 PRO CORE is a newly formulated quarter panel structure that incorporates a stiff midsection with an XX-stiff ATTACKFRAME carbon twill eyelet row and heel counters. This layered design acts as a spring to allow each skater to achieve the maximum amount of acceleration possible. When the boot is flexed, the softer midsection absorbs the stress while the attack frame builds up potential energy to snap0 the boot back into shape at the end of each stride. The result is a boot with maximum energy responsive and increased stride efficiency.
Liner:
DURABLE PRO CLINARO LINER is will stand up to abrasion, while staying soft on the foot and aggressively wicks away moisture to stay light.
Tongue:
INTEGRATED PRO EPE FOAM + FELT and EXTERNAL LACE BITE PLATES protection keeps your foot safe while staying light and allowing for natural flex.
Footbed:
CUSTOM SUPPORT INSOLES give you the option of high, medium or low arch support to achieve a truly customized fit without the custom price tag.
Midsole:
LIGHTWEIGHT COMPOSITE lines the footbed inside the boot to provide an enhanced transition to the holder that won’t warp or bend
Outsole:
EXTRA STIFF VENTED CARBON COMPOSITE provides unmatched torsional rigidity to prevent flexing which can result in loss of energy transfer into the ice during skating.
Holder:
The SPEEDBLADE +4.0 raises the skater higher off the ice than any other holder on the market to increase the turning angle by 10% before the boot bottoms out and touches the ice. This more extreme angle allows skaters to turn tighter and extend their stride longer.
Runner:
HYPER GLIDE is a polished steel runner that dramatically increases glide and bite.
