viewable angle with 1/4" format image sensor. This lens supports surveillance camera with IR night vision capability and it is ideal for viewing of a very large indoor/outdoor area.
CCTV surveillance cameras have a wide visible spectrum; they can all see IR light spectrum is not visible by the human eye. When a true day/night camera is in Day Color mode during the day, IR light must be blocked to allow correct reproduction of color from the camera. When lighting condition is poor, IR light must
not
be blocked to allow for night vision.

These lenses are factory set for a fixed focal length to achieve the optimal field of view. As lens focal length increases, the field of view narrows and distant objects are more defined. All fixed iris lenses are best used in constant lighting conditions.
