Vintage Russian Chess Set, Bakelite Pieces?, Probably 1930's Vintage

Vintage Soviet-era Russian chess set. Typical 12" by 12" folding board and piece design, however the pieces appear to be made of Bakelite or another thermal plastic, rather than wood.  This has been in my family since at least the 1930's-1940's.  I suspect it was manufactured in Siberia or possibly in the "International Community" in Shanghai, China.  In that case it would have most likely have been made by an Russian ex-pat to the typical patterns common prior to that period, and the use of this material makes some sense.  Pieces are intact with all felt bottoms present, showing just some light wear.  Interior felt shows some fading and wear, wood is sound with some scuffing and could use some TLC/refinishing.  This board was carried from China to the U. S. via the Philippines, so it has seen some travel, but
no cracks or damage other than normal wear. As anyone looking at this should be aware, there are a lot of similar sets listed on ebay - my Asking Price reflects my labor to list, pack & ship, plus something for sentimental value. So I have aimed high and added a Make an Offer option. If making an offer, please be polite and respectful of the material (and my time).  "Low Ball" offers will be ignored.
